So you had your ear to the tracks and heard we’re hiring—we’re excited you’ve made it this far! Here’s a brief intro on the position we’re looking to fill:
TITLE: Operations Assistant (or something like that, we’re actually not big on titles)
LOCATION: Work from home, though, we have office space for occasion team pow-wows, and we like to meet at cafe’s.
HOURS: 10 or so per week, with loads of flexibility.
PAYMENT: Will vary depending upon the candidate experience, probably in the $10-15/hr range, and you’ll want to love what we’re doing way more than the money.
KIND OF PERSON WE WANT:
- Super personable, loves people 
- Loves Chadds Ford, already has relationships in the area 
- Community-minded, likes connecting people, hosting, making others feel welcome 
- Very deadline and detail-oriented, helps keep the team on-track 
- Someone who figures they can solve almost any problem (hey, we have YouTube, right?!) 
KINDS OF THINGS YOU’LL DO:
- Grow the monthly newsletter from 80 to 100 pages by surfacing cool stories, polishing up content we get, uploading content to our portal. 
- Host all kinds of intimate events designed to connect residents. 
- Help reduce the large backlog of stuff we need to send to people (extra copies, thank you’s, etc.) 
- Come up with awesome new ideas, and then bring them to reality (we dream big, are lean, and move quickly). 
- Be a cheerleader for our vision to improve real-life human connection in Chadds Ford.
